Meghan Markle, 39, ran a lifestyle blog before meeting Prince Harry, 36, and regularly shared her favorite recipes with fans. The former Suits actress was updating her site The Tig with lifestyle tips and cooking recommendations, including one for her favorite chocolate cake.
While The Tig was shut down shortly after Meghan got engaged to Harry in 2017, Express.co.uk has managed to track down some of the recipes she posted there, including one for an appetizing cake.
In an introduction to the luxury treat, Meghan wrote on The Tig: “Whether it’s Valentine’s Day, or any other day you want to treat yourself (or your honey) a little… well, sugar – that cake. chocolate, with its sticky center [sic] and a perfect presentation, is obvious.
“All my cooking dilemmas go out the window when I roll up my sleeves to do this one.
“Serve with ice cream, fresh berries or just perfectly on its own.”

Carefully lift the cake pans and remove the parchment paper, except in the ramekins (in which case you’re ready!)
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or fresh berries if desired, then serve immediately with ice cream.
How will Meghan celebrate her 40th birthday?
Meghan hired a celebrity party planner to help her throw a party for her 40th on August 4, an insider said.
A source told the Mirror that the Duchess enlisted the help of Hollywood room planner Colin Cowie to organize the low-key shindig at her home and at Harry Montecito’s mansion.
The insider said: “Meghan wants a small gathering. About 65 people are invited, her closest friends and family.
“Colin was recommended to her by Oprah who always throws fabulous parties.”
Meghan and Harry are likely to have been rushed after the arrival of their second child Lilibet in June.
The parents of two may have enlisted the help of an event planner as they juggle life at home with Lili and Archie.
