The Birmingham College of Food is currently looking for a Lecturer in cake decorating. It’s an exciting time to join the team and showcase your skills and talent. Recently we opened our new Cakes and Bakes shop which operates 50 days a week and we are looking to improve our bespoke products for the public, staff and students.
You will teach in our hands-on kitchens which have state-of-the-art equipment to allow learners to achieve the latest and most common practices replicated in the industry. These fantastic facilities provide impressive learning opportunities for our FE learners.
Essential requirements for this role include:
- Modern and classic cake decorating skills (coating, piping and modeling)
- Knowledge of current cake decorating trends and ability to translate them into current qualification requirements.
